Mountain Mentorship: Coached Ski & Snowboard Days at Lake Tahoe & Beyond
We call it Mountain Mentorship because it is a different thing from a lesson, and for most people a better one. You spend a full day skiing or riding with a certified coach as your host, at the resort you choose. Mammoth, Palisades Tahoe and Mt Rose are the regulars. You learn on real terrain instead of running drills on the beginner hill.
Learn by exploring, not by drilling
Our Mountain Experiences are built around guided discovery: you and your mentor ski the mountain together, varied terrain, real snow, real situations, and the coaching happens naturally, on the lift and during breaks. You improve by doing more skiing, in the places you actually want to ski. It’s engaging, it’s fun, and it sticks.
Why it beats a resort private lesson
Way more affordable
From $600 for a full day, and that one price covers up to three people. Three of you works out at $200 each, which undercuts a resort group lesson while still giving you your own coach. A fourth guest is $400, so four comes to $1,000, or $250 each. A resort private runs about $1,300 for one person.
More skiing, less standing around
No ski-school meeting-point line-ups, no rigid drill blocks. You’re out exploring the mountain and making progress all day.
